About Nicky Boyd

Nicky Boyd is a Museum Learning and Evaluation Consultant based in London, working throughout the UK and abroad.

She has a Certificate in Teaching in Adult and Higher Education from the University of London, a Diploma in Museum Studies from the University of Leicester and a BA (Hons) from the University of Liverpool.

She has worked in the museum sector since 1992 and has been working as a consultant since February 2000. Her clients include local authority, independent and national museums and related organisations including regional agencies. She regularly runs training on evaluation and audience development and speaks at conferences and seminars. She was Chair of the Visitor Studies Group from 2006 to 2008 and is currently a committee member of the E-Learning Group.

Prior to work as a consultant she was the manager of the Livesey Museum for Children in South London and Exhibition Project Manager for the British Film Institute at the Museum of the Moving Image on London’s South Bank.
